Santa Barbara · Marriage portrait commissions
A portrait of your marriage.
Made for your home.
A Santa Barbara marriage portrait can be shaped by architectural rhythm, warm surfaces, and the space between the couple and the scene. For local residents, the aim is an artwork that feels personal to the place you live and considered for the room it will enter. We begin with one wall and develop one main concept around it.
Based in Northern California. Available in Santa Barbara by private commission or announced visiting dates.

A local starting point
Architecture with a coastal sensibility
An architectural exterior or privately arranged garden can provide a formal setting with a restrained palette. The courthouse area is a possible visual reference, but access to a specific exterior, interior, or garden is never assumed. A coastal setting is a separate direction, selected only if it better supports your artwork.
Dwayne is based in Northern California and available in Santa Barbara by private commission or announced visiting dates. We review one exact location, including the applicable property or agency permissions, before confirming the session. Artist travel is quoted separately for the agreed itinerary; private venue fees and unusual requirements are disclosed in the complete proposal.

The Masterpiece finish
A surface with its own character.
Acrylic texture and hand-applied color give your canvas physical dimension. Your portrait is digitally painted, printed, embellished, and framed as one finished work of art.

Planning your commission.
Santa Barbara, Montecito, and surrounding communities
Your current home and the portrait setting are considered separately. One selected location is confirmed after access, production, wardrobe, and timing have been reviewed.
Planning an anniversary in Santa Barbara? →Can we use the courthouse for our portrait?
We can explore a courthouse-area concept, but the exact area and planned activity require current review. Access to interiors or gardens is not promised by the starting commission.
Is this a courthouse wedding package?
No. It is a commissioned portrait experience for already-married couples, designed to produce one finished framed artwork.
Do you serve Montecito residents?
Yes, by private commission. Your residence is recorded separately from the session location, and the final proposal confirms the visit and production plan.
