Where could you
see yourselves?

The landscape is part of the composition. Choose the feeling first; we’ll consider the room, wardrobe, and practical plan together.

Alpe di Siusi

The Italian Dolomites

Rolling alpine meadows, sculpted peaks, and a sense of almost endless space. A portrait here could balance the softness of a gown with the strong lines of the Dolomites, creating a landscape-led centerpiece with room to breathe.

Imagine your portrait here ↗
Planning this setting +

We select one accessible viewpoint and plan around mountain conditions, local access arrangements, and your comfort. The meadow is the setting; a particular light or season is never promised.

Villa del Balbianello

Lake Como

A lakeside villa, formal gardens, and water stretching into the distance. Villa del Balbianello suggests a portrait with architectural poise: a considered silhouette, a gracious frame of greenery, and the quiet drama of Lake Como.

Imagine your portrait here ↗
Planning this setting +

A portrait at the villa requires an individually arranged photography reservation and venue approval. We confirm the permitted space, production plan, and complete costs before you make travel commitments.

Valley of the Ten Peaks · Canadian Rockies

Moraine Lake

Blue-green water beneath the Valley of the Ten Peaks. This is a portrait concept built around scale: the two of you held within a sweeping Canadian Rockies landscape, with the mountain rhythm becoming part of the artwork.

Imagine your portrait here ↗
Planning this setting +

Seasonal access, transport, weather, and the applicable Parks Canada commercial permissions need review. This is one Moraine Lake concept; Lake Louise is a separately chosen setting, not an extra stop in the same commission.

A separate Canadian Rockies concept

Lake Louise

A long sweep of lake leading the eye toward the mountains. Lake Louise offers a different composition from Moraine Lake: an open foreground, a strong sense of depth, and space for a quieter portrait within a monumental setting.

Imagine your portrait here ↗
Planning this setting +

The elevated panorama is geographic inspiration; your portrait position is chosen separately. Choose Lake Louise or Moraine Lake as the main location. We review the exact shore, visitor conditions, transport, and photography permissions; access to hotel property is not assumed.

Riffelsee facing the Matterhorn

Zermatt

The unmistakable outline of the Matterhorn beyond a small alpine lake. A Riffelsee concept gives the portrait a powerful point of focus, with a reflection becoming part of the composition when the water and weather allow.

Imagine your portrait here ↗
Planning this setting +

High-alpine conditions, walking access, transport schedules, and wardrobe practicality shape this plan. Reflections require calm conditions and are never guaranteed. The exact portrait position is chosen with the site and your comfort in mind.

Lake Wakatipu · Foreshore or wharf

Glenorchy

Mountains layered beyond the water, with a simple shoreline or wharf to anchor the composition. Glenorchy offers a cinematic sense of distance—a portrait that can feel intimate even with a vast landscape around it.

Imagine your portrait here ↗
Planning this setting +

We choose either the foreshore or a suitable wharf position as the single concept, subject to local permissions and conditions. Public access, wind, footing, and a workable portrait space are considered together.

An arranged caldera-facing terrace

Santorini

Pale architecture against the deep blue of the caldera. The concept is an intentionally arranged terrace, with enough space and privacy to compose the portrait—not simply a photograph made in a crowded passageway.

Imagine your portrait here ↗
Planning this setting +

The terrace is selected and permission arranged before the session is confirmed. Reference imagery shows the caldera setting, not a booked property, included accommodation, or guaranteed private access.

A shoreline facing Mount Otemanu

Bora Bora

A luminous lagoon and the distinctive shape of Mount Otemanu. A shoreline concept can keep the composition beautifully simple: the two of you, water, and a mountain that gives the portrait an unmistakable sense of place.

Imagine your portrait here ↗
Planning this setting +

We identify a shoreline with the right view and confirm property access, local arrangements, and weather planning. A resort, private beach, boat transfer, or accommodation is not included unless expressly stated in the proposal.

Lake Pehoé with the Paine massif

Torres del Paine

Bright water, sweeping sky, and the jagged forms of the Paine massif. A Lake Pehoé concept places the couple within a powerful landscape, with the finished artwork designed to carry that sense of scale into the home.

Imagine your portrait here ↗
Planning this setting +

This is a carefully scoped destination production. Park access, the selected shore or viewpoint, transport, permissions, and a realistic weather plan are confirmed before reservation. Mountain visibility and still water cannot be promised.

Stokksnes · Mountain and black-sand coast

Vestrahorn

Dark sand, restless light, and a serrated mountain skyline. Vestrahorn lends itself to a bold portrait with restrained color—where fabric, gesture, and the landscape create a striking contrast together.

Imagine your portrait here ↗
Planning this setting +

The exact beach position and landowner access are arranged around conditions. Wind, tides, footing, and protection of the dunes influence the plan. No particular reflection, sky, or weather effect is guaranteed.

The journey becomes artwork

Bring home the feeling of the place.

The landscape inspires the portrait. Digital painting, canvas, acrylic texture, and hand-applied color turn that portrait into a framed centerpiece for your home. The finished artwork is part of your destination proposal.

The journey, thoughtfully planned

One destination.
One concept.
One wall.

An extraordinary place still needs a personal reason.

We begin with the portrait you want to live with. The setting, light, clothing, and final scale should support that idea. A destination commission stays focused on one agreed location, with several poses and photographs used to develop your statement artwork.

Moraine Lake and Lake Louise are separate concepts. A destination list is a starting point for choosing, not an itinerary of multiple sessions.

A complete destination proposal.

International commissions are individually quoted. Artist travel, location permissions, local production, the finished framed artwork, and delivery arrangements are scoped before a reservation. The standard visiting-city starting price does not establish an international destination price.

Your flights and accommodation are separate unless expressly included in your proposal. We confirm the practical plan before you make non-refundable travel arrangements.

Discuss Your Destination Portrait

Before you choose

A few things
to consider.

Beautiful scenery is the beginning. A workable plan is what makes it yours.

Do we have to travel for a Marriage Portrait?

No. Destination portraits are optional. Dwayne is based in Northern California and travels to selected cities for private commissions. Explore the Service Areas page or ask about your city; the setting and dates are confirmed individually.

Are these places currently bookable?

These are portrait concepts for personal review. No destination visit, venue reservation, or session date is advertised as confirmed. We first assess the location, your preferred timing, permissions, and the complete production plan.

Will the portrait look exactly like the reference photograph?

The reference shows the landscape and a possible creative direction. Your portrait is made for you. Light, weather, water levels, reflections, access, and the chosen camera position will influence the final composition.

Can we choose Moraine Lake and Lake Louise?

We can discuss both, then choose one as the main concept and location. A second location would require a separately scoped commission; it is not included as a casual extra stop.

Does a destination commission still include finished art?

Yes. The proposal includes the creative commission and finished framed Masterpiece artwork. The room, canvas size, frame, finishing, and delivery arrangements are considered alongside the destination.

Do we need to wear a wedding gown?

No. Your own gown, a sourced gown for session use, or other formal attire can work. Movement, walking surfaces, climate, and your comfort help shape the wardrobe plan. Sourcing and additional styling are confirmed and quoted by arrangement.
