The Masterpiece finish

A piece to live with.
Details to discover.

The composition draws you in from across the room. Up close, physical brushstroke texture gives the surface another dimension.

Your image, palette, scale, embellishment, and frame are considered together. The result is mixed-media portrait art, shaped around the marriage you’ve built and the wall you have chosen.

Included in your commission: one framed 24 × 36-inch canvas with the Masterpiece finish.

What you’re seeing

A brush works a texture medium over a printed portrait. Close views show the raised texture catching the light. This silent excerpt illustrates the physical texture stage. The portrait shown is a finishing demonstration from the studio’s supplied materials.

A portrait with depth, texture,
and a presence of its own.

Your portrait is digitally painted and printed on canvas. Physical brushwork and acrylic texture add dimension to its surface; hand-applied color embellishments complete the Masterpiece finish.

The result rewards a closer look. Light meets the texture, the frame gives it presence, and your portrait becomes a substantial piece of art to live with.

The Masterpiece finish is included with your framed 24 × 36-inch commission.

Follow the finishing process

From your portrait to your Masterpiece

Four stages.
One finished piece.

Photography, digital artistry, and physical finishing each have a role. Together, they create embellished portrait artwork with depth and presence.

  1. Digitally painted

Your selected portrait is artistically refined and digitally painted, shaping the color, light, and painterly character of the image.

  2. Printed on canvas

The portrait is printed on canvas at the agreed scale, giving the image a physical foundation for the finishing work.

  3. Enhanced with acrylic texture

Brushwork builds physical dimension across the surface. The texture becomes something the light can reveal as you move around the room.

  4. Embellished with color

Hand-applied color embellishments complete the mixed-media artwork. Your frame is then chosen to work with the piece and its place in your home.

The pleasure of a closer look

Let the light
find the texture.

Raised brushwork gives the surface dimension. As the viewing angle and light change, different parts of that texture become visible.

The composition belongs to your portrait; the finishing gives it a physical presence. We consider both alongside the frame and the room.

Finished for your wall

The room helps
shape the piece.

Orientation, palette, size, and frame are chosen together. A generous wall may invite a larger canvas; a more intimate setting can call for a quieter scale.

Give your wall a sense of scale.

Dimensions in inches, shown horizontally. The 24 × 36-inch canvas is the starting size. Larger sizes are quoted separately. Outside frame dimensions are larger.

The starting 24 × 36-inch canvas has a 36-inch long edge and qualifies for the Masterpiece finish available at 30 inches and larger. Outside frame dimensions are larger than the image.

Understand your artwork

What makes it
embellished art?

What does hand-embellished mean?

The portrait begins with photography and digital painting. After it is printed on canvas, physical acrylic texture and hand-applied color embellishments add another layer to the artwork. This finishing is part of the Masterpiece process.

Is the brushstroke texture physically on the canvas?

Yes. The acrylic texture is a physical part of the finished surface. The process film shows brush application over printed canvas and close views of the resulting texture.

Is this an oil painting made from a blank canvas?

No. It is embellished mixed-media portrait art: photography and digital painting, canvas printing, acrylic texture, and hand-applied color embellishment.

Is this finish included in the starting commission?

Yes. The starting commission includes one framed 24 × 36-inch canvas with the Masterpiece finish. Larger sizes, special frames, and other enhancements are quoted separately.

Whose artwork appears in the process film?

The film and surface details are finishing demonstrations from the materials supplied by DNA Premium Portraits. They explain the physical process. Your marriage portrait is created from your own session and agreed concept.

How are approval, framing, and delivery handled?

Artwork approval and the signature frame selection are coordinated as part of your commission. The proposal sets out the finished size, frame, applicable taxes and shipping, delivery plan, and any installation arrangements before a deposit.
