Portland · Marriage portrait commissions
A portrait of your marriage.
Made for your home.
A marriage portrait for a Portland-area home can draw on the region's rich natural textures while keeping the composition calm and deliberate. We consider the wall, clothing, and palette together, then choose one landscape or architectural direction. The selected portrait becomes Classic or qualifying Masterpiece artwork, made to be seen and lived with.
Based in Northern California. Available in Portland by private commission or announced visiting dates.

A local starting point
A Gorge direction with texture and movement
Latourell Falls and the surrounding Guy W. Talbot area offer a starting point for a Columbia River Gorge concept: basalt, foliage, and moving water. A coastal portrait is a different plan, with a different journey and weather response. These possibilities are explored separately; we do not combine the coast and Gorge into one casual session.
Dwayne is based in Northern California and available in Portland by private commission or announced visiting dates. For couples in Lake Oswego, West Linn, Vancouver, or Camas, we distinguish your home location from the selected session site. Wet surfaces, walking access, attire, public use, and activity permissions all inform the final plan.

The Masterpiece finish
A surface with its own character.
Acrylic texture and hand-applied color give your canvas physical dimension. Your portrait is digitally painted, printed, embellished, and framed as one finished work of art.

Planning your commission.
Portland, Lake Oswego, West Linn, and nearby Vancouver and Camas
Your current home and the portrait setting are considered separately. One selected location is confirmed after access, production, wardrobe, and timing have been reviewed.
Planning an anniversary in Portland? →Can we visit the Gorge and the coast in the same commission?
The commission centers on one main concept and one location. The Gorge and coast are separate options with their own travel and production plans.
Do we have to stand at the waterfall?
No. The exact working area depends on safety, access, current conditions, and your comfort. A waterfall reference is a creative starting point, not a required pose or promised access.
Do you work with couples living across the river?
Yes. Nearby Vancouver and Camas residents may inquire. We record your residence separately and confirm the actual session location and visit in the proposal.
