Give the invitation on your anniversary and plan the portrait together if you prefer flexibility around conditions. If a completed artwork is the intended gift, tell us the delivery request early. We will assess it alongside the location, artist visit, and finishing process before making a commitment.
You can wear your own gown, obtain one, request session-gown sourcing by arrangement, or choose other formal attire. Fit, availability, and any sourcing cost are confirmed before you reserve.

A Gorge direction with texture and movement
Latourell Falls and the surrounding Guy W. Talbot area offer a starting point for a Columbia River Gorge concept: basalt, foliage, and moving water. A coastal portrait is a different plan, with a different journey and weather response. These possibilities are explored separately; we do not combine the coast and Gorge into one casual session.
Dwayne is based in Northern California and available in Portland by private commission or announced visiting dates. For couples in Lake Oswego, West Linn, Vancouver, or Camas, we distinguish your home location from the selected session site. Wet surfaces, walking access, attire, public use, and activity permissions all inform the final plan.

Choose the Masterpiece finish to make your gift a hand-embellished canvas. Digital painting, acrylic texture, and hand-applied color bring qualifying artwork sizes into their finished form. Classic photographic artwork is also available.

Planning your commission.
Portland, Lake Oswego, West Linn, and nearby Vancouver and Camas
Your current home and the portrait setting are considered separately. One selected location is confirmed after access, production, wardrobe, and timing have been reviewed.
Tell us when you want to present the gift and, separately, whether you need the completed artwork by a particular date. No deadline is promised before review.
Can we visit the Gorge and the coast in the same commission?
The commission centers on one main concept and one location. The Gorge and coast are separate options with their own travel and production plans.
Do we have to stand at the waterfall?
No. The exact working area depends on safety, access, current conditions, and your comfort. A waterfall reference is a creative starting point, not a required pose or promised access.
Do you work with couples living across the river?
Yes. Nearby Vancouver and Camas residents may inquire. We record your residence separately and confirm the actual session location and visit in the proposal.
