Salt Lake City · Marriage portrait commissions
A portrait of your marriage.
Made for your home.
For Salt Lake-area couples, a marriage portrait can use space as part of its expression: a broad horizon, the shape of formal clothing, and two people held within a deliberate composition. We develop the finished artwork for your room first, then choose a setting whose practical requirements fit the concept and the couple.
Based in Northern California. Available in Salt Lake City by private commission or announced visiting dates.

A local starting point
A salt-flat horizon, or a separate island concept
Bonneville Salt Flats offers a distinctive direction built around an expansive pale ground and horizon. It requires a substantial drive outside Salt Lake City and a plan responsive to surface conditions and restricted activity. Antelope Island is a separate possible concept with its own landscape, wildlife considerations, and portrait requirements. We select one.
Dwayne is based in Northern California and available in Salt Lake City by private commission or announced visiting dates. Where you live in the metro is recorded separately from the portrait setting. Bonneville and Antelope Island are not combined into a casual single session; the chosen site's journey, access, permissions, and conditions are included in the planning conversation.

The Masterpiece finish
A surface with its own character.
Acrylic texture and hand-applied color give your canvas physical dimension. Your portrait is digitally painted, printed, embellished, and framed as one finished work of art.

Planning your commission.
Salt Lake City, Holladay, Sandy, Draper, and the surrounding metro
Your current home and the portrait setting are considered separately. One selected location is confirmed after access, production, wardrobe, and timing have been reviewed.
Planning an anniversary in Salt Lake City? →Are the Bonneville Salt Flats close to downtown Salt Lake City?
They require a substantial drive outside the city. We discuss the actual journey and production plan rather than presenting them as a quick local backdrop.
Can you guarantee a mirror-like salt-flat reflection?
No. Surface and water conditions vary, and access restrictions must be respected. A reflective look is not promised.
Can we choose Antelope Island instead?
It can be explored as a separate concept. Its current portrait requirements, wildlife considerations, access, and site suitability need their own review.
