Sedona · Anniversary commissions
The years together.
Made into art.
An anniversary portrait in Sedona can make a familiar landscape part of your shared story. Whether you live here or have a personal connection to the area, we begin with the artwork's place in your home and build a thoughtful portrait around it. The aim is meaning and composition, not a checklist of scenic stops.
Based in Northern California. Available in Sedona by private commission or announced visiting dates.

An invitation to create together
A meaningful gift, with room for both of you.
For a surprise gift, the invitation can come first and the final setting can be chosen together. Please share any deadline for finished artwork separately from the anniversary itself. A red-rock concept may need a different date or access approach, and that feasibility is confirmed before reservation.
You can wear your own gown, obtain one, request session-gown sourcing by arrangement, or choose other formal attire. Fit, availability, and any sourcing cost are confirmed before you reserve.
Your place in the picture
Red rock, quiet connection
A Cathedral Rock and Oak Creek direction is one possibility to explore around the Red Rock Crossing area. A drier red-rock outlook would be a separate concept. We do not assume water access, a particular trail, or an exclusive view; the exact working area and production requirements are assessed individually.
Dwayne is based in Northern California and available in Sedona by private commission or announced visiting dates. Sedona is planned as its own market, not an add-on to a Phoenix session. We discuss terrain, footwear, wardrobe handling, walking distances, and current site requirements before confirming the portrait plan.
Make room for the making
Your anniversary has a date.
Your artwork needs a plan.
The portrait session is only the beginning. Digital painting, hand embellishment, approval, and framing all follow. Start with your occasion now so we can review what is possible for your date.
If the celebration comes first, you can give the invitation to create the portrait together, with the finished artwork arriving later on an agreed timeline.

An optional addition to your commission
A personal gift,
just for them.
A private boudoir session offers another way to create a gift for your spouse. Available exclusively alongside a Marriage Portrait commission, with a private setting arranged in Northern California or your visiting city.
The session, presentation, and additional investment are discussed privately. If you are considering this for your wife, begin with an invitation she can choose to accept.

The Masterpiece option
Your marriage, finished in brushwork.
Choose the Masterpiece finish to make your gift a hand-embellished canvas. Digital painting, acrylic texture, and hand-applied color bring qualifying artwork sizes into their finished form. Classic photographic artwork is also available.

Planning your commission.
Sedona and surrounding communities, with a distinct red-rock production plan
Your current home and the portrait setting are considered separately. One selected location is confirmed after access, production, wardrobe, and timing have been reviewed.
Tell us when you want to present the gift and, separately, whether you need the completed artwork by a particular date. No deadline is promised before review.
Will we need to climb Cathedral Rock?
No climb is assumed or required. The location is selected around a suitable view, your comfort, and practical access rather than a summit objective.
Can a Sedona session be added to a Phoenix visit?
It requires its own confirmed production and travel plan. The commission includes one main concept at one agreed location.
Can you guarantee a creek reflection?
No. Water and weather conditions vary. A reflection may be explored as an artistic possibility, but it is not a promised feature of the finished portrait.
