San Francisco Bay Area · Anniversary commissions

The years together.
Made into art.

The city where you built your life can become part of the portrait you bring home. For an anniversary, we can develop a new image with a familiar Bay Area setting or revisit the feeling you wished your wedding portrait had captured—without trying to reproduce the wedding day.

Northern California: $580 portrait study fee + $1,000 minimum artwork credit. The study fee is separate. Artwork begins at $1,290; local study + Mini Classic artwork totals $1,870 before applicable taxes or additional charges. Ask about payment options.

An invitation to create together

A meaningful gift, with room for both of you.

For a surprise, keep the first conversation between you and Dwayne through your chosen safe channel. The gift can be the invitation to create a portrait together. A requested finished-artwork deadline is reviewed separately from the celebration date, especially when outdoor conditions shape the session plan.

You can wear your own gown, obtain one, request session-gown sourcing by arrangement, or choose other formal attire. Fit, availability, and any sourcing cost are confirmed before you reserve.

Your place in the picture

A cinematic portrait with a sense of place

A Golden Gate coastal direction is one possibility; an architectural concept is another. Baker Beach is one of the National Park Service's documented coastal settings with a Golden Gate view, but the precise location and conditions are assessed for each commission. The supplied Golden Gate and Palace of Fine Arts artwork illustrates the artist's visual approach; room displays are visualizations.

Bay Area residence does not mean the portrait must be made in your own neighborhood. We agree on one location and plan the meeting point, attire, walking access, and weather response together. A beach concept depends on more than a bridge view: wind, shoreline conditions, public use, and the working space must suit the portrait.

Make room for the making

Your anniversary has a date.
Your artwork needs a plan.

The portrait session is only the beginning. Digital painting, hand embellishment, approval, and framing all follow. Start with your occasion now so we can review what is possible for your date.

If the celebration comes first, you can give the invitation to create the portrait together, with the finished artwork arriving later on an agreed timeline.

An optional addition to your commission

A personal gift,
just for them.

A private boudoir session offers another way to create a gift for your spouse. Available exclusively alongside a Marriage Portrait commission, with a private setting arranged in Northern California or your visiting city.

The session, presentation, and additional investment are discussed privately. If you are considering this for your wife, begin with an invitation she can choose to accept.

For couples who call this area home

Planning your commission.

San Francisco and surrounding Bay Area communities

Your current home and the portrait setting are considered separately. One selected location is confirmed after access, production, wardrobe, and timing have been reviewed.

Tell us when you want to present the gift and, separately, whether you need the completed artwork by a particular date. No deadline is promised before review.

Will our portrait look exactly like the Golden Gate example?

The example shows an artistic direction. Your composition, clothing, light, and finished artwork are developed for you and your room; the exact scene or weather is not promised.

Can we combine the beach and Palace of Fine Arts?

The starting commission includes one main concept at one location. We discuss both directions during consultation, then choose the one that best fits your artwork.

Are the room photographs actual client installations?

They are identified as room visualizations. They help illustrate presentation and scale; displayed sizes and framing may differ from the starting artwork.
