You can wear your own gown, obtain one, request session-gown sourcing by arrangement, or choose other formal attire. Fit, availability, and any sourcing cost are confirmed before you reserve.

Coastal space, composed with care
Sunset Cliffs provides a starting point for a coastal visual direction, subject to a safe, permitted, and practical working area. A cliff-edge pose is not a requirement for a dramatic portrait. A privately arranged architectural setting is another possible concept when it better serves the room or your comfort.
Dwayne is based in Northern California and available in San Diego by private commission or announced visiting dates. We plan for residents across San Diego and La Jolla, selecting one location rather than a multi-stop coastal tour. The site, walking access, conditions, and production permissions are reviewed before the visit is confirmed.

Choose the Masterpiece finish to make your gift a hand-embellished canvas. Digital painting, acrylic texture, and hand-applied color bring qualifying artwork sizes into their finished form. Classic photographic artwork is also available.

Planning your commission.
San Diego, La Jolla, and surrounding communities
Your current home and the portrait setting are considered separately. One selected location is confirmed after access, production, wardrobe, and timing have been reviewed.
Tell us when you want to present the gift and, separately, whether you need the completed artwork by a particular date. No deadline is promised before review.
Do we have to pose near a cliff edge?
No. Comfort and safe access guide the location plan. We choose the working area and composition together; a dramatic image does not require an exposed pose.
Can we wear formal clothing instead of wedding attire?
Yes. A bridal gown is optional. Your clothing should support the portrait concept and feel like a considered expression of the two of you.
Can we book a portrait date from the consultation calendar?
The calendar is for a planning conversation. The artist visit, portrait location, and session date are confirmed separately in the proposal.
