Phoenix & Scottsdale · Anniversary commissions
The years together.
Made into art.
Celebrate the marriage you have built with a portrait that becomes part of your home. A Phoenix or Scottsdale anniversary commission can draw on the desert's shape and palette while keeping the relationship between the two of you at its center. One carefully developed image becomes the finished framed work.
Based in Northern California. Available in Phoenix & Scottsdale by private commission or announced visiting dates.

An invitation to create together
A meaningful gift, with room for both of you.
If you are surprising your spouse, share the idea privately and leave room to choose the clothing and final concept together. Your anniversary date, preferred photography window, and requested artwork delivery date are separate planning points. No outdoor condition or visiting date is guaranteed before review.
You can wear your own gown, obtain one, request session-gown sourcing by arrangement, or choose other formal attire. Fit, availability, and any sourcing cost are confirmed before you reserve.
Your place in the picture
A Superstition Mountains direction
Lost Dutchman State Park, at the base of the Superstition Mountains east of Phoenix, is a possible starting point for a landscape-led portrait. The mountain profile and Sonoran Desert textures can guide a broad composition. The exact site, activity permissions, access, and working conditions are reviewed before any location is promised.
Dwayne is based in Northern California and available in Phoenix and Scottsdale by private commission or announced visiting dates. For residents of Paradise Valley, Gilbert, Chandler, and the wider metro, the selected portrait setting may be outside your immediate neighborhood. We plan one location and assess the journey, access, attire, and conditions as part of the complete proposal.
Make room for the making
Your anniversary has a date.
Your artwork needs a plan.
The portrait session is only the beginning. Digital painting, hand embellishment, approval, and framing all follow. Start with your occasion now so we can review what is possible for your date.
If the celebration comes first, you can give the invitation to create the portrait together, with the finished artwork arriving later on an agreed timeline.

An optional addition to your commission
A personal gift,
just for them.
A private boudoir session offers another way to create a gift for your spouse. Available exclusively alongside a Marriage Portrait commission, with a private setting arranged in Northern California or your visiting city.
The session, presentation, and additional investment are discussed privately. If you are considering this for your wife, begin with an invitation she can choose to accept.

Planning your commission.
Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Gilbert, and Chandler
Your current home and the portrait setting are considered separately. One selected location is confirmed after access, production, wardrobe, and timing have been reviewed.
Tell us when you want to present the gift and, separately, whether you need the completed artwork by a particular date. No deadline is promised before review.
Is Lost Dutchman in Scottsdale?
The park is east of Phoenix near the Superstition Mountains. It is a possible portrait setting for metro residents, with travel from your home considered in the plan.
Is Sedona part of the same session?
No. Sedona has its own service page and production plan. This commission focuses on one agreed Phoenix-area concept and location.
Can our session be planned around comfort in the desert?
Yes. Conditions, walking, clothing, and your comfort are considered before a date and site are confirmed. A suitable plan matters more than a particular landmark.
