Napa & Sonoma · Anniversary commissions
The years together.
Made into art.
An anniversary is a chance to create something more personal than another outing. A commissioned portrait can hold the feeling of the place you share, then become a daily part of your home. The experience is guided by the marriage you are celebrating and the wall you want to make meaningful.

An invitation to create together
A meaningful gift, with room for both of you.
You can begin the gift privately without selecting a venue on your spouse's behalf. Present the invitation first, then develop the portrait together. If a particular property has sentimental meaning, mention it early so access and production can be reviewed before any promise is made.
You can wear your own gown, obtain one, request session-gown sourcing by arrangement, or choose other formal attire. Fit, availability, and any sourcing cost are confirmed before you reserve.
Your place in the picture
Wine-country restraint, or a separate coastal direction
A privately arranged property can support a composition built on stone, gardens, and simple architectural lines. For couples drawn to an open landscape, the Sonoma Coast offers a different palette of headlands, coves, and water. These are alternative concepts—not stops on one session—and neither a winery nor a private estate is assumed to be available.
Tell us where you live and whether the portrait should reflect inland wine country or the coast. The location's permission, privacy, usable space, and any venue charge are reviewed before confirmation. Your choice of setting also informs the gown or formal attire and how we plan for wind and walking surfaces.
Make room for the making
Your anniversary has a date.
Your artwork needs a plan.
The portrait session is only the beginning. Digital painting, hand embellishment, approval, and framing all follow. Start with your occasion now so we can review what is possible for your date.
If the celebration comes first, you can give the invitation to create the portrait together, with the finished artwork arriving later on an agreed timeline.

An optional addition to your commission
A personal gift,
just for them.
A private boudoir session offers another way to create a gift for your spouse. Available exclusively alongside a Marriage Portrait commission, with a private setting arranged in Northern California or your visiting city.
The session, presentation, and additional investment are discussed privately. If you are considering this for your wife, begin with an invitation she can choose to accept.

The Masterpiece option
Your marriage, finished in brushwork.
Choose the Masterpiece finish to make your gift a hand-embellished canvas. Digital painting, acrylic texture, and hand-applied color bring qualifying artwork sizes into their finished form. Classic photographic artwork is also available.

Planning your commission.
Napa, Sonoma, and surrounding wine-country communities
Your current home and the portrait setting are considered separately. One selected location is confirmed after access, production, wardrobe, and timing have been reviewed.
Tell us when you want to present the gift and, separately, whether you need the completed artwork by a particular date. No deadline is promised before review.
Can we use our favorite winery?
We can consider it, but a commercial portrait session needs the property's agreement and a workable plan. Any venue fee or special requirement is disclosed in the proposal.
Do we need to plan a destination weekend?
No. This service is for local residents as well as couples choosing the region for their portrait. We build the arrangements around where you live and the one setting selected.
Is Sonoma Coast included in a wine-country session?
A coastal concept is planned separately from an inland property concept. The commission focuses on one agreed location.
